Happy Birthday to our newest nephew!!

This goes out to my sis-in-law, Stacey! She's due to give birth to her son any moment now!

We're just waiting on word from Sacramento that the newest member of our family has arrived. She went into labor last night, and the last I heard she's due to have her baby in a couple of hours from now. We're proud of you, seester!!
As we get more information, we'll try to keep everyone posted!

'Tis the Season...

It certainly is the Season to be Jolly, just not if you're a Big 3 Automaker looking for a freakin' handout from the government, because they have knowingly made mistakes making sub-par vehicles. And now they're at the point of becoming bankrupt, and they want money so they don't go under. Says that they are too big to fail, that it'd be a detriment to Americans everywhere.

Now, the latest is that they originally said they wanted $24 billion (with a B) in loans, and has since blossomed into 34 billion (again, with a B). GM said if they don't get at least 8 billion by year's end that they will go under. It looks like the government will agree to loan them money, however, not as much as they want, and to top it all off, they are calling for GM's CEO to step down. Clearly the person in charge is doing a less than adequate job in running the company. GM's board is now saying, no, he should be in charge. He's the person we need to get them out of this predicament.

You know, I really need to get off this topic before I really get worked up. Damn fools.

Ok, enough. :) I finally put the rest of the Xmas lights up. Changed our pineapple palm's colors from red & green to yellow & green, making it look more realistic. Looks really good! Took me about 6 hours to do it.

My TomTom GPS device came last week. Cool little gizmo! Since I have no sense of direction whatsoever, it'll come in handy as I'm going out to client houses that are out in booney-ville. Completely update-able from the Internet for a fraction of the cost of most built-in dashboard GPS systems.

Ok, was just given a new toy to set up here. A fingerprint timecard device. What fun!
