Look at me! Finally got one!

Mom & Dad always makes fun of me, barking at all the bunnies that dare trespass in my yard. No lizards, birds, or bunnies allowed!

Then, my cool grandma Diane gave me this bunny, which I mercilessly dispatched before it could protest. It won't squeak again as long as I'm around!!

What do you think, grandma? Are you proud of me??

Can you believe it? QVC has its Xmas in July show on right now. Guess what Giliane is watching at the moment? She absolutely loves it when this particular segment of shows airs on QVC. Oy. 26 hours this time!

Red Buttons passed away last Thursday...

Yeah, ok. Most of you are now saying, "Who?" He was a comedian that was in numerous movies, but I only really saw him in one movie, but it still ranks up there in my top 5 movies of all time, Hatari! He was "Pockets". And since this is one of my favorite movies, I thought his passing was worth noting.

I saw this movie when I was little and fell in love with it. I thought it was amazing to watch the animals in their habitat, the actors' associations with them, how they caught them, etc. As Giliane would say, this movie will date me as being an old fart. That's ok.

If you haven't seen it, it's well worth it. And if you'd like to see it, just ask me! I have it on dvd! Below is a pic from the movie, Hatari, with Red Buttons on the right.

BAILEE BAILEE BAILEE BAILEE!!!!

I sent Jeff an updated picture of little Bailee girl so that everyone can see how cute she is! And since I am a tard, and I can't put a picture in this Blog-thing we all have to wait on Jeffy-poo to put it in for me... HURRY JEFFY HURRY!

Keri, is it time to house-sit yet??

I gotta tell you, we're really looking forward to house-sitting for you. Are you sure it isn't time for you to go yet? I think your pool is calling our names! Hmmm, it may be SCREAMING our names!!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!!

This is a great evening for the 4th! Lots of excitement with lightening, thunder and wind! Even a few drops of rain.... Hopefully, we will be able to see some fireworks through the clouds!! You two should get a wonderful view of the fireworks.

Jeff is going to have a special connection to our little Bailee, they share the same birthday. Actually, that was a strong point for me in selecting this puppy, it has to be a good sign that she will be special!! I am so anxious to see her. Thanks to Keri for helping me select her!

Ok, here's what happened. The actual truth. The whole truth. Nothing but the truth.

Mom was apparently talking about possibly getting a little puppy. Keri, who has just about every cocker spaniel breeder's website in her favorites list, instantly brought up some puppies that (miraculously) had just been born not that long ago. They are some cuties, that's for sure. So Keri, I mean mom, picked one out and named her Bailee. Stacey & Jim have the other Bailey. Another cute little dog. This Bailee is presently somewhere in Nevada. It'll be a long trip to get her, so it ought to be interesting!

I can only imagine what poor Katie & Mollie (mom & Gary's cats) are gonna think of the newest member of the family. They are used to running and hiding under their bed. What are they gonna do when the little puppy goes after 'em? Gonna have to see who wins!
