Flood of new video game systems...

Howdy!

So what's your preference? Sony PlayStation or Nintendo? Us? We're loyal Nintendo fans. We're not into shooting games, or driving games, or kill-all-the-zombies games.

Some of our favorite games are some of the silliest. Those that have come over to our house knows that we like playing the Mario Party games. Nintendo's newest game console, the Wii, boasts a controller that has a motion sensor, thus enabling the player to have a more interactive video game experience. Can you imagine playing Mario Party on the Wii? And, better yet, all four players on that thing all actively trying to win? That I'd like to see!

I have the Zelda game pre-ordered, so we'll just have to wait for the 2nd shipment of consoles. I refuse to wait in line to pay $$$ and I REFUSE to pay more $$$ than necessary (buying on Ebay). So we'll wait!

Keri came over last night so we watched a movie, the newly released Da Vinci Code. The movie wasn't as action-packed as I thought it was gonna be, but then again, the book is more of a thriller. Overall, it wasn't bad. Especially for someone who's read the book numerous times!

Can you believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner?? That means that a week from now I should have the outdoor decorations out and put up. I think my neighbors are trying to out-do me since our house looked better than theirs for the past several years. Bring it on! I'll take 'em all down!!! Stay tuned for updates!

Da Vinci Code comes out tomorrow!

Has everyone read the book? If not, you gotta pick it up and read it. If you like to read, I'd definitely allocate some free time to read it 'cause once you pick it up, you won't be able to put it down.

As for me, I must have read that book at least 5 times. I have the special illustrated edition in hard cover, if anyone would like to borrow it! When the author writes about certain pieces of art, this edition will show you what he's talking about. If you're not very knowledgable in the art world, this edition's for you.

I know this is fiction, but there's a lot of the storyline that's based in fact. Just makes me wonder just how much is fact and how much is fiction.

I know Keri wants to see it. Maybe we can all watch it this weekend and just hang out! What do you say, sis? Ready for a drink?? If so, I think we'd join you! I know I will.

The Eye of the Storm

There's peace & quiet in Havasu tonight.
The air is calm, the weather's just right.
Two little darlings are headed this way,
To stay in Havasu while mom & dad play.

Grandma Purple, think you're up for this?
Running yourself ragged for a hug and a kiss.
Boundless energy keeps them moving to & fro
One went one way, where'd the other go?

The toys have been thrown all over the house.
Where's the reinforcements? Call in the spouse!
Grandpa Purple reads them a book, but they want more!
The twins start to giggle, listen to grandpa snore!

Everyone's glad when the girls come for a stay.
Those two will brighten up anyone's day.
Would we go through this again to see 'em one more time?
Well of course we would, and I can stop the rhymes.

Belated congrats!

Congrats to Lake Havasu's newest Designated Broker!

My sister, Keri, passed her broker exam, making her the designated broker for her company, Platinum USA Real Estate. Not bad for being under 30!

Way to go sis! Keep up the good work!!
