TGIF!!

What a long week!

I've been putting in extra hours helping that sister of mine get her new business ready. Computers to network, wi-fis to setup, network security to attend to, etc. It's been a lot of work, but it's been worth it.

Gary has the office looking absolutely incredible. He certainly has an unbelievable knack for putting together floral arrangements that would put a florist to shame. We'll take some pictures of the ribbon cutting ceremony this Monday and post some of 'em on here. Way to go, sis!

Tonight was our customary date night. We had dinner at Casa Serrano's, ordering some classic Mexican food as envisioned by an American. We've gone there so many times that the waiters are waiting for us with the drinks we usually have with dinner. Hmmm, I think we need to branch out some. Then again, this is Havasu. Not much to choose from! Although, I'd choose a lack of choices over the hustle & bustle of a large city.

At any rate, we hope everyone has a great weekend! Keri, have fun at the gym tomorrow!!!!

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had an awesome Easter!

Gilly & I went over to my parents house. Giliane did a lot of the cooking. She cooked the ham, made some home-made potato salad, and some awesome devilled eggs! I lent a hand where it was needed. Needless to say, I didn't do that much. There were a lot of people over there. Let's see. Giliane, myself, mom, Gary, my grandparents, Craig, Mark, my grandpa's mom, and oh yeah, Keri. She claims to be on an "I'm gonna eat better" binge, so I'm gonna do my best to tempt her with all kinds of stuff! Hey, what are brothers for, right??

I get to assemble of slew of cubicles tomorrow. What fun, huh? Keri, you SO owe me!! We're getting closer and closer to the opening date of her new real estate office. Should be interesting!

Ok, Giliane is wrapping up her phone call with Stacey. Gonna sign off! Everyone have a great week!! We hope you like your new website, seester!

The Fires of Hell Doth Approacheth

It's supposed to hit 94 today. Even hotter tomorrow.

In preparation, I had my grandpa Bill come over and show me the intricacies of cleaning out an evaporative cooler. Messy work. Very glad he knew what he was doing! Thanks again, grandpa! It's working great! Giliane & I plan on using that thing as much as we can and try to leave the A/C off as much as possible. We did that last year and did it ever help with the utility bills!!!

It's definitely time to think about getting out the pool. We have one of those portable pools, 13 feet in diameter, and holds over 1700 gallons of water. It fits perfectly in our AZ room. I think it's time to bring it out, clean it up, and start having fun again!

We're also due to housesit Keri's place. She has a really nice backyard complete with custom pool. Glad to housesit anytime, sis!! :)

4 day weekends are great!!

Days off go by way too quickly.

Giliane took last Thursday and Friday off. I was so excited when she was off of work on Wednesday. I figured, hey, we have four whole days off together. We could have taken a small trip. Done some work around the house, which I had every intention of doing.

Instead, we camped out at the house the whole time. We slept in, ordered out, watched movies, and in general, had an absolute blast. We had one vacation like that where we closed the blinds, turned off the phones, etc, and essentially stayed in our own little world for over a week. That still ranks up there in the top 5 best vacations of all time.

We bought a new video game, one of the latest Harvest Moon series. Giliane loves these types of games. It's a blast to sit back and watch her play it.

We also attended a barbecue last Saturday that was held over at Keri's house. It was Bill's birthday. We all hung out, had some good food, and watched Keri trash her new outdoor barbecue. She's gonna be cleaning that for quite some time!!

Platinum USA Real Estate LogoKeri gets closer and closer to the opening of her new business, Platinum USA Real Estate. I'm handling all things technical. So it's been a lot of fun planning out where cables will go, what equipment will be needed, setting up the computer network, etc. She's put a lot of hard work into it. I'm sure it'll do great!

Ok, I'm off to watch Giliane play her game!
