Kitchen pics!!

Howdy!

Anyone interested in seeing before & after pics of our kitchen? It's so different in there now it's unbelievable!!!

As you can see, this is what our kitchen used to look like. Note the black oven with the (non-working) microwave above it.

Then we also have the black coil cooktop with it's non-working downdraft. Also visible in this pic is the stainless steel dinged/scratched sink.

The counters were light pink, with several burn marks, holes, etc. Also note the stripe running the length of the counters.




In this picture, you can see that we've replaced the wall oven combo with a new white Kenmore double oven. We've also replaced the black electric coil cooktop with a new KitchenAid smooth-glass cooktop with a (working) downdraft.

The stainless steel sink has been replaced with a new white fiberglass sink with a brushed nickel faucet.

You can also see that the countertops have been resurfaced. The burn marks/holes have been filled in and sanded down. The color changed to "white vein", which is a white base with flecks of gray and black in it. Looks great, huh?

Oh, I thought of something else that we've changed. The fan used to have a gold base to it. We've replaced it with a completely white one. However, this fan's blades are a little more curved, so we either need to get one with smaller blades or trim the pantry door 'cause it hits the fan whenever the door is opened. *sigh*

Next up? The kitchen/dining room/hall/laundry room floors. Gonna replace the damaged linoleum with a wooden floor. My grandpa Bill will be helping me with this next task!
